Nightfrost padded quietly towards the nest where Earthstar was resting.

Earthstar heared pawsteps rapidly coming toward him. He opened his eyes to see Nightfrost. "Hello, Nightfrost. Is the Clan okay?" he croaked.

Nightfrost stared down at Earthstar. "Yes, the Clan is perfectly fine." She purred. Nightfrost's eyes began to glow in the dim light.

Earthstar sighed with relief. "That's good. How are you?" he asked, obviously oblivious of her feelings.

"I am fine now." Nightfrost purred. "There is no need to worry about the Clan. All is well." Nightfrost repeated, just to reassure Earthstar.

"You look like something is wrong, Earthstar. Whats troubling you?" Nightfrost mewed, worried about him.

"It's nothing...can you go get Lioneyes for me please?" Earthstar asked.

"Yes, Earthstar." Nightfrost mewed as she looked hurt but then padded out of the den.

Then a few moments later Lioneyes padded into the medicine cat den and mewed, "You wanted me Earthstar?"

"I killed my brother, Jaguar." he mewed sadly.

"I know. I have always known, Earthstar. I dont understand how it feels to loose a brother, but......." Lioneyes paused for a moment, lost in thought.

Earthstar sat up quickly then winced. "When did that happen?!" he yowled, suprised.

Earthstar laid down painfully. "If you don't want to tell me, you don't have to." he huffed, disappointed.

Lioneyes sighed. "I will tell my leader anything. It happened two moons ago." Lioneyes mewed.

Earthstar thought back two moons ago, he was still Earthstep then. "Who was it?" he asked.

"Her name was Autumleaf. She and my kits were not of this Clan. I loved her. And it pained me when I heard she and the kits died." Lioneyes admitted.
