The Star Tree

Where DreamClan shares tongues with Starclan.

"Okay. First, I'll touch my nose to the tree, then you'll touch yours to it. Any questions?" Firststar asked.

Stonestep shook his head and stared at his father.

"Is something wrong, Stonestep?" Firststar asked, noticing his son's stare.

"I hope to see mother there." Stonestep whispered.

Firststar nodded. "Me too. She'll be so proud and thrilled to see you." he mewed. He then laid down and touched his bright pink nose to the soft bark of Star Tree.

Stonestep let a tear fall off his massive head. He then layed down and touched his nose to the tree. Right when he touched it, darkness flooded over him.

"Firststar!! You've brought your newest deputy!!!" millions of cats cheered. They were in a brilliant star clearing. "Hello, everyone! It's been a while. I now would like to introduce you to my deputy and son, Stonestep." Firststar announced proudly. He was very comfortable here.

Stonestep stared around in awe at the clearing of cats. "It is an honor to meet aall of my ancestors. I promise I will ot disappoint you all." Stonestep decleared. THen, as his gaze flick around the clearing, he saw a highly familiar cat. "Dawnstrike!!" Stonestep yowled as he saw his mother and began to pad up to her. At first he was hesitant, not knowing if he could go see her.

Firststar purred and padded toward Dawnstrike, intense love in his eyes.

Dawnstrike gazed at her mate and kit with love so strong it burned through the hearts of the ones she loves. "Oh my love! My kit! I have missed you all so much!" She mewed. Dawnstrike touched her nose to Firstars and Stonesteps shoulders, making it feeling like a chillling wind, and a warmth never felt, not even from the sun itself.

Stonestep purred at his mother and mewed, "I have missed you so much mother."

"Sorry for not bringing him to visit." Firststar mewed, licking his mate's forehead.

"You both are here now. That is all that matters. Stonestep, a great wind will try to smuther and knock you over. Be ready to hold your ground, for this being is an emotion that is hard to handle." Dawnstrike told Stonestep. Suddenly her figure started to fade.

Stonestep bounded up, "No! Dont go! Please!"

Firststar awoke. "It's never long enough..." he whispered sadly to himself.

Stonestep bolted awake, "Dawnstrike!" He yowled when he woke up. "Dawnstrike." He whispered.

"It's alright Stonestep...let's go home..." Firststar whispered.

Stonestep got up and padded up to the side of his father. Then began to make their way back to camp.
